My original demon-fighter chick Ruriel!
This painting was finished in April but it's still one of my favorite pieces to date. Again, lots of help from ~koyukii who critiqued me through the whole process.
Ruriel is so bad ass and since I did this piece, I commissioned a few more awesome pieces of her from a bunch of my super talented friends so it's like falling in love all over again.
Here's her original turnaround that I drew in (wow) 2008!

I like it when someone falls well. Great amount of toughness to the look, a human chance of survival plus a dose of special initiative.
