Whew!

First off, I am NOT a sequential artist! I do 99% illustration so this is REALLY difficult! I worked SUPER HARD ON THIS (but I took a lot of shortcuts with my linework and details and stuff) because I am awful with comics! This is actually my first sequential work in years, and I'm really happy I decided to do it in full color because it really makes the characters pop.

Constructive criticism would be absolutely amazing -- I'm really bad at simple storytelling comics already, and this tournament (and another that I'm participating in) are all action/fighting centered, which is so much more difficult!

I'm doing a lot of animal studies to prep for this tournament because animal figures are NOT my forte but I really want to challenge myself, hopefully making me a better artist.

honestly, I have to say that your overall presentation was very good and having the comic against a black background really ';popped' it up and off the page with it's nice bright colors.

I liked it.

hahaha I love the last "page".
For your not having a lot of background or experience with sequential art, I thought it was handled pretty well~ The paneling flows nicely, the only thing that tripped me up was the bubbling locations on the fourth panel on your first page because your comic reads from left to right but the bubbling on that panel reads from right to left (top to bottom). That's really the only thing I had a little trouble with. ;)

Wow! You did such an awesome job! For your storytelling - it was really easy to follow. I don't notice any of the "shortcuts" in inking and such you were talking about. In comics, we're reading through quickly and as long as it reads fine, then there isn't a problem.

I actually really like the linework here. It's nice and thin. Mine is all chunky and retarded. Great backgrounds too! n.n;

I love how the twins are so money hungry. That last page is hilarious.
